POKERTIME.cz Joins Forces with The Festival Series
The world of poker in the Czech Republic is booming, and we’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with POKERTIME.cz, a rising star in the poker media scene! This partnership will help bring even more excitement to the Czech live poker community, which continues to grow rapidly.
POKERTIME.cz was created by two passionate poker enthusiasts, Tadeáš Vančura and David Vesely. Both have a long history in Czech poker media, having previously worked for one of the biggest poker news sites, PokerArena. With their experience and love for the game, they decided to launch their own platform, POKERTIME.cz, which has quickly become one of the top sources for poker news in the Czech Republic—after just two months!
The Festival Series Partnership
Tadeáš and David are no strangers to live poker events. They’ve already attended several The Festival Series events, including a trip to the Dusk Till Dawn Pokerclub in Nottingham, UK. Tadeáš even managed to finish 18th in the Main Event! David also had been at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, our debut in the largest poker capital of Europe. With our next event coming up in Bratislava, both will be visiting their next Festival Series event!
To celebrate our new partnership, the boys have created a fun challenge: whoever doesn’t qualify for the Main Event will have to eat Surströmming, the notorious Swedish delicacy. If neither of them qualifies, both will have to face it! These kinds of challenges not only bring excitement but also create fun content for the community. And let's be honest here, that's a common thing at The Festival!
iPoker Qualifiers and Upcoming Events
Right now, iPoker qualifiers are running on platforms like Fortuna.cz, giving players the chance to earn their way into The Festival Series. Until November 4th, the entire iPoker Network will be able to join online satellites for our event in Bratislava, and it's being promised to be delicious when it comes to all the poker action going on.
Yesterday, Tadeáš streamed his progress on Twitch, moving from the €3 step to Day 1 of the €100 tournament. Though he got knocked out by a player named Goliath4, it was a fun experience that took around 3 hours.
