Sami’s Festival Series Journey: From Malta to possibly Bratislava!

Sami, who qualified through the iPoker campaign, is one of these players, and he's having a blast. With a smile, he shares his experience so far, where he’s had a taste of both the poker action and the friendly vibes of the festival.

With a windy day in Malta, Sami decided to skip the shore for a relaxing time on the beach with a cold beer. Amidst the fun and poker, Sami is asked if he feels more Swedish or Danish. “Frankie calls me Danish,” he laughs, “but I’ve lived in Sweden for 20 years and still think of myself as Danish.”
So far, when this interview was recorded, Sami has enjoyed his Malta experience. He’s already played two tournaments, cashed in one, and even placed fifth in an 8-game tournament. But for Sami, it’s not just about the poker. The hospitality events have been a big part of his enjoyment here, showing just how much The Festival Series values a good time. His focus is now on the Madness tournaments (in which he also finished 5th) and the Main Event, with a flexible plan to fit in all the activities.
