The Festival Online – The Streamer Challenge Has Got a Winner!

The Streamer Challenge of this edition of The Festival Online has been a rollercoaster ride for all contestants. A total of eleven passionate online poker streamers took up the challenge, all vying for the illustrious title of Champion of the Streamer Challenge. Who became the successor of 'Lemon Poker', who won it in 2024? Let's find out!

This year's Streamer Challenge consisted of thirteen scheduled tournaments (including two stack builder tournaments) and several bonus features where the online streamers were challenged to create cool content to promote themselves. From the very beginning, players were convinced that the calculation for these bonus features would be decisive in the end, but it turned out completely different (as expected by the organizer :)).

The First Stages

In the beginning of the challenge, it was the Czech sensation and PokerTime.CZ spokesman, 'Prasatecko', who took the lead with a strong finish on the second day. He gained a massive lead by earning 43 points that day. The other competitors were already intimidated by the man who is always well-dressed on his stream! However, it didn’t take long before 'EstonianWeirdo' started collecting much-needed points for the ranking. On the 3rd and 4th days of the challenge, he accumulated enough points to close the gap with 'Prasatecko'.

Despite the obvious guess that the winner would be one of these two players throughout the entire challenge, it was 'sMMoe1992' from Norway who suddenly had a massive run, scoring 27.5 points on the 4th day. Unfortunately for him, this was his only big score during the challenge. Nevertheless, he had several strong performances that week, as he managed to run deep in several other tournaments of The Festival Online. We are sure he had a very profitable series in the end, even though he didn’t accumulate more points for the challenge after this.

Is It Coming Home?

Another contender for the podium in this challenge emerged in the form of 'J0nnywatf0rd.' When examining his accumulated points throughout the challenge, he could be compared to a steady Volvo car, gradually building momentum. This culminated in a decisive 3rd-place finish on the final day during one of the scheduled Mystery Bounty events, earning him enough points to remain in contention. The ultimate question was: Was it enough to secure a podium finish? Or even claim first or second place?

Estonia Wins It All!

The answer to the previous question related to "J0nnywatf0rd" turned out to be negative in the end. "EstonianWeirdo" collected a massive total of 238 points and managed to achieve outstanding scores on the two final days of the challenge. It turned out that he had already carved his name into the invisible Streamer Challenge trophy before the final day even started, and he was proven right in the end. From the middles stages of this challenge, all the way until the very end, Mairo Toom has proven that being consistent is key in this sort of challenge. He is the well-deserved Champion of this Streamer Challenge, and the rightful successor of poker legend 'Lemon Poker'!
