The Festival Series: Hospitality Events

The Festival Series offers poker fans a live event which is just different like any other event. A legion of tournaments, No-Limit Hold'em, all forms of Omaha, mixed games, casino games, everything is included in the tournament schedule. But the real aim of the event comes to light with our side activities, our so-called Hospitality Events.
In this article, we will take you on a journey through all our hospitality events in the history of The Festival Series. We have visited countries like England, Estonia, Malta, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, all with their own culture, and all with their own unique activities.
Hospitality Events are the perfect opportunities to get to know other fanatic poker players from around the globe. Everyone with a hospitality package (Online Qualifiers), will be able to partake in these activities, where laughter and comradery are the main course.
Ever since 2021, Bratislava has been on the calendar of The Festival Series. This beautiful capital city of Slovakia, filled with history and culture, could be considered as our home. Thanks to Banco Casino, we have hosted several successful events and set several records when it comes to live poker in this country. The hospitality events have always been filled with cultural activities, delicious food, and lots of laughter. Bratislava is one of the greatest cities in Europe when it comes to organising such activities, mainly due to the welcoming of all Slovakians. Come on board of the Bratislava train, and you will have the time of your life!

Malta has been part of The Festival Series for several stops now. Guided by the wind, the sun, the beautiful beaches, and the landscapes that Malta has to offer, Portomaso Casino is the go-to destination when it comes to live poker. The atmosphere on this island is really from out of this world, so welcoming, and so lovely! It speaks for itself when the weather is amazing in the months we have visited the island, but the activities have been shining as ever before. From games on the beach and in the sea, to wine tastings when the sun is going down. From visiting local breweries to yoga and boxing classes, there are so many opportunities!

Think of the largest poker palace there is available in Europe, and you most certainly end up at the King's Resort in Rozvadov. This beautiful place in the Czech Republic, surrounded by the amazing views that nature has to offer, is the cornerstone of live poker. With big guaranteed prize pools, large attendance rates, and world-famous branded events, you will find it at the King's Resort. Often Rozvadov is being considered the one location in poker where there is not much to do outside poker, and this is exactly why it fits so well with our Hospitality Events. Not only is the casino staff put to the test when poker players arrive in large numbers, but organizing hospitality events also requires dedication. Thanks to the open space, there is space for thinking out of the box, and it results in grand grilling sessions, football matches, tuna dinners, brewery expeditions, karaoke, and so much more!

One of the true poker destinations that Great Britain has to offer is the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club in Nottingham. Back in 2023, when we were guests in the home of Paul Yong and his team, it was a true honour all the way through. The Poker Club is breathing the game we love so much, and the iconic landscapes where Robin Hood left his tracks are amazing. With our Hospitality Events, we have made a tour through a glimpse of what Nottingham has to offer. From axe throwing to a delicious English high tea, from bowling to playing shuffleboard, from having a guided tour through the history of Robin Hood to placing bets on people's favourite sports teams at the office of Betfred, Nottingham has it all!

The Festival Series Tallinn ![]() |
Estonia is the home of our founder Martin 'Franke' von Zweigbergk. One of the first events in the history of The Festival Series was held in the capital city that Tallinn is. With its medieval city centre, great sceneries with loads of history, blended with the fun that Estonian people bring to the tables, the Hospitality Events had been truly amazing. Beer pong, wine tastings, guided tours, and so much more! Everyone who had participated in the activities was satisfied from left to right. Tallinn is a great city to visit overall, but with our event, it shone just a bit more than it usually does! It will also be the very first destination of The Festival Weekend! Hop on the train!
